Fraudsters often create fake social media accounts to impersonate a company.
The purpose of these fake accounts or pages is to scam followers. They promise to get you a loan by requesting a copy of your ID and bank statements. Often, they even ask you to pay an upfront fee for a loan or they charge a fee to supposedly upgrade your profile.
When you fall prey to these fake accounts, you could be scammed out of a lot of money!
